In December 1995, a Winimac, Indiana firm located in DeKalb County, Alabama. The firm started production a month earlier than anticipated and has had three major plant expansions.

Production has far exceeded owner expectations and employment has increased from the projected forty to around 100. Because of success such as this, another Indiana company chose DeKalb County as the location for a plastic extrusion facility in March of 1996.
